Creator Agreement
What creators must do before posting, how eligible reach is measured, and how reviews and rewards work.
Effective August 21, 20261. Independent participation
Creators decide whether to join a campaign and control their own schedule, wording, opinions, and lawful methods. Participation does not create employment, agency, partnership, or authority to speak for Creator Rewards or an advertiser.
2. Before publishing
- Verify ownership of the X account using the required bio-code process.
- Join the campaign before publishing and review the frozen campaign version.
- Use your own honest wording unless a lawful campaign instruction requires particular factual information.
- Confirm that you can make every factual claim and disclose the paid relationship clearly.
3. Post requirements
- Quote the campaign source post from the verified account.
- Keep the post public through the seven-day measurement window.
- Use X's Paid Partnership disclosure and any additional clear disclosure required by law.
- Do not use bots, paid impressions, engagement rings, duplicate accounts, copied wording, misleading claims, or other artificial activity.
4. Reward calculation
Rewards are calculated from validated eligible impressions at the campaign rate per 1,000 impressions. The calculation is subject to the campaign minimum, any advertiser-set creator cap, the remaining shared pool, fraud review, identity and tax requirements, reversals, and lawful holds.
A creator who joined before publishing may receive credit for eligible impressions measured during the campaign's seven-day measurement window regardless of how early or late in the open campaign the creator joined. A join does not reserve budget, and no reward can exceed the remaining pool.
5. Review and appeal
The advertiser reviews campaign fit. Creator Rewards validates the source relationship, author, timing, approved metrics, and fraud evidence. A creator may appeal a rejection or hold using the preserved campaign version and evidence. Creator Rewards makes the final marketplace decision.
6. Payout and taxes
A displayed estimate is not owed until it becomes a validated reward. Stripe Connect will collect identity, tax, and payout information before live payouts. Creators are responsible for reporting taxable income and for their own taxes, records, permits, and professional advice.
7. Content rights
Creators retain ownership of their posts. The creator grants Creator Rewards a limited, nonexclusive right to store the submitted URL, display a campaign preview, preserve review evidence, and use the post as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and document the marketplace.
Operational draft for the gated private beta. Qualified legal review remains required before live money is enabled.
